In Hospitality we are opening horizons and there are more and more occasions for enriching exchanges between other people and our service. On this occasion we have had the pleasure of welcoming researchers who come to CEU San Pablo, because from Hospitality we support the researchers of the Marie Curie project.
The University has the HRS4R seal of excellence in human resources and research and is working to define a welcome process for incoming international researchers. This service is carried out in collaboration with the Vice-Rectorate for Research, Transfer and Scientific Dissemination through the Office of International Research Projects (OPII) and the Hospitality service.
We are talking about highly qualified people whom it is an honor to receive, meet and help in their arrival to Madrid and to the University. We want to extend a hand beyond our services, in welcoming them and introducing them to our institution and our facilities. We are proud to be the accompaniment they deserve.
This week we have been fortunate to welcome Svitlana Arslan from Ukraine and Sara Londoño from Colombia, both in the fields of biology and chemistry. Our Hospitality team has been in charge of showing her the different areas of the campus and guiding her in the processing of several requirements necessary for her arrival.
We facilitate the adaptation of international researchers
From support in obtaining a visa and work permit, to help in finding accommodation in Spain, opening a bank account and obtaining a TIE, social security card, etc. Those researchers who come with family also have this support, ensuring that their incorporation is as easy as possible and that they can focus on getting the best out of their research from day one of their arrival.
Ultimately, these meetings are always opportunities to build bridges and exchange ideas. Above all, to be able to help those people who come to the University and need guidance, which is after all Hospitality’s raison d’être. Not only that, but they share their experience and knowledge with the academic community and reaffirm their commitment to excellence in research and education.
